These unusual celluloid buttons from the 1940s are not quite antiques, but are a collector's dream for those interested in the Plastics. These were produced in continental Europe, and brought to Australia by a unique dressmaker, operating from 1940-1990 in the heart of Sydney.

They are in "as new" condition, and would look fabulous on knits, period costumes, coats, also summer dresses!

2 hole sew through button in a sunney buttercup yellow. It is a deep bowl shape, with rough concentric circles detail on face.

Size: 21mm diameter / 8mm high base to top edge.
