These Italian designer buttons are made in the artisanal style that Italy is known for, in this case, a modern take on the paperweight style.
Polyester resin is shaped, over-dyed, with the rose pattern drilled from the back. A plastic shank covers the crevice. Absolutely stunning.
Because of the half ball shape, this button takes a larger buttonhole than its diameter. Perfectly suited to hand knits where the buttonhole can stretch and return to size.
