These Italian designer buttons are made in the artisanal style that Italy is known for.
In this case, pigment dyed polyester resin is shaped and polished into a cube with a tunnel shank drilled through the corner, and hand carved with a geometric pattern on four sides. Absolutely stunning.
Because of its shape, this button takes a larger buttonhole than its diameter. Perfectly suited to hand knits where the buttonhole can stretch and return to size, or with a welted buttonhole.
